Colonial Revolution
The ideas of the Enlightenment have found a receptive audience in colonial holdings around the world. The ruling elite in the colonies, deprived of political involvement, have been inspired the ideals of liberty, equality, and representation. Naturally, these ideas clash with their current status as a subject to their colonial overlords, existing only to satisfy the demands of their masters.
Either through political pressure or outright revolt, it will be difficult to maintain order in the colonial landscape for a long time.
