The Invention of the Cotton Gin
A new machine which separates Cotton fibers from their seeds in a quick and easy way is currently being developed, and could significantly improve the output of our Cotton production. The machine is a wooden drum with small wire hooks that pulls the Cotton fibers through a mesh to separate the seeds from the rest of the plant while brushes removes the loose lint to prevent jams.
