The relation with our colonies have been on shaky grounds for a while. The economic needs of Country can not be ignored and demand an ever-flowing stream of goods from overseas. However, our attempt to assert rigid economic control over our subjects has met fierce resistance. Some colonists have petitioned us to loosen our strict control over goods leaving and entering their markets and giving them more local control.
