Game Concept
Maritime Presence
The Maritime Presence we have along our coasts is vital both for Trade and for our Control over our territory.
Maritime Presence builds up over time, if we are at peace, just from having Ports, while a Blockade will quickly reduce our presence. A Navy in a Seazone can quickly build up the presence again.
High Maritime Presence reduces the Proximity that is lost between Seazones when calculating Control. Maritime Presence in the coastal Seazones of a Market is also an important source of Trade Advantage.
