The Swiss Confederation began as a mere alliance between different cantons. Each part has developed separately, speaking different languages and even having different laws. To truly unify the Swiss, a sovereign power must establish dominance in the Swiss Plateau. While unifying so many different people will not be easy, we stand to gain much if we are successful.
