Lankavong
Many different forms of Buddhism have been present in the lands of Thai people for ages, from Chinese-influenced Eastern Buddhism to earlier Indian Buddhist traditions. Eventually, the Theravāda tradition from Sailan became the main school of thought, but influence from earlier traditions and even from Thai folk beliefs still remain.
