We have fortified the natural strongpoints of our mountains with walls and towers that make our land a nightmare for any invader who seeks to hold it by force. Every valley approach leads to a defended pass, and every pass to a Hilltop Citadel that must be taken before any advance can continue. Any army that enters our lands uninvited will find the mountains themselves arrayed against them.
