The Frisian Freedom represents the indomitability of our people and their rejection of feudalism and serfdom. They choose their representatives among the landowners and rule the land autonomously. Should a leader rise among them, he must respect the freedoms of his people or face the same fate as any other enemy, whether from within or from the outside.
