Game Concept
Election
Some Succession Laws may require an election to decide which Character should be the next Ruler.
Depending on the rules of the Heir Selection, an election may occur at regular intervals, or upon the death of the previous Ruler.
If there is no Ruler, then the Government will temporarily be ruled by a Regency until the election concludes.
