Following the trends of the late Baroque, every major Romagnol town will establish an Académia focused on improving agricultural yields. These local scientific societies will study the drainage of the Vâli (marshes) and the selection of disease-resistant vines. These agronomy projects will turn the region into an experimental farm, leading to a surplus of crops that will fuel the regional manufactories and provide the state with high-value trade goods for the Adriatic markets.
