A prosperous country is the true sign of a strong ruler, but the people will only believe that a ruler is strong if they are depicted as such. To that effect, many rulers commission statues of themselves, often made out of stone or bronze, to project an image of strength and power to any who look upon their rendered visages. However, these displays of ego are not always effective, and sometimes only result in great amounts of materials being moved around.
