Our artillery corps and fortifications have long been the key to defending our land, making our small country a tougher nut to crack for enemy armies. We shall establish a military academy — the Academia Real de Fortificação, Artilharia e Desenho — to train our officers in these fields, so that they, in turn, may fashion our forts and our artillery corps into the finest in the world!
