These Colonie operated on networks of trust and kinship that made Ligurian credit as reliable in Alexandria as at home, and the information that flowed along those networks gave our merchants an advantage in every market they entered. This diaspora turns geography from a limitation into an asset, extending our commercial reach far beyond what the size of our fleet alone would justify.
