Drawing upon the ancient, grim traditions of our Gothic ancestors and the disciplined military manuals of the Romans, we have formed the Red Guard. These elite shock troops are recruited exclusively from the highest mountain villages of the Crimea, trained to fight in the pitch-black tunnels of our fortresses and the claustrophobic ravines of the coast. Armed with heavy polearms and the latest flintlock pistols, they are masters of the sudden, devastating raids. Their reputation for never taking prisoners and never retreating makes them the most feared infantry in the Euxine basin, capable of breaking the morale of even the most hardened regiments.
