Almogavars are a class of light infantry soldiers originating from the Crown of Aragon. These quick-moving warriors serve as frontier defenders and foot soldiers. In addition to their role in the Reconquista, they have also found employment as mercenaries in Italy, the Frankokratia, and the Levant.
