Nestorianism
Nestorianism, named after Nestorius, teaches that Christ's divine and human natures are distinct and exist side by side. This doctrine was rejected by the Council of Ephesus but found a strong following in Persia and beyond. Nestorian Christians spread their faith across Asia, becoming the largest Christian religion in land area covered.
