Mandala System
The Mandala is a system of power in which independent city states swear fealty to whoever leads the most powerful state among them. Stemming from the Dharmic and Buddhist worldview, the fundamental idea is that power emanates radially from a center source. Thus, each of the polities is a source of local power, but their power in turn radiates from the central, most powerful, source.
