Formalized Scales, Weights, and Measures
Our nation has formalized its system of scales, weights, and measures. While it is not universal, the new system does ensure our people use the same basic units of measurement everywhere in the country. Now, there are four bovates to a hide. Or possibly eight. And then five hides equal a fee... er, or do they?
