Dharmic Ḏimmī Communities
Originally a term reserved for Christian and Israelite communities, the Ḏimmī refers to the Hindu and other Dharmic believers living in the Muslim world. Traditionally, it is the responsibility of the ruler to protect them. However, this is not always as easy, as the Ḏimmī constitute the majority of the population. But, with the support of the true faith, the Ḏimmī shall swear loyalty to the state without threatening the tenets of Islam.
