La Llotja de la Seda
La Llotja, a stunning architectural masterpiece, consists of three parts, including the 'Sala de Contratació', a lavishly decorated trading hall with twisted columns where merchants can negotiate contracts, and the Pavilion of the Consulate that serves as the seat for the 'Tribunal del Mar'. The central tower of La Llotja is used as a prison for debtors.
