The Transylvanian Autonomy
While Transylvania has remained part of the Hungarian Kingdom, the local Romanian, Saxon, and Hungarian nobles have all maintained a unique degree of regional autonomy under their own Voivode, and lived in peace. This shared governance has allowed everyone to preserve their distinct faiths and customs despite their apparent differences. This internal collaboration has ensured a certain degree of internal peace and multiculturalism in the Carpathian interior.
