The spiritual heart of the Bulgarian world will undergo a rigorous and profound transformation under the iron-willed guidance of our Patriarch. Recognizing that the survival of the nation depends upon the purity of its faith and the precision of its holy texts, the Patriarchate will initiate a sweeping linguistic and liturgical reform centered at the Holy Trinity Monastery of Tarnovo. By purging the Church Slavonic manuscripts of centuries of scribal errors and corrupt localisms, we will establish a new, standardized orthography that will become the gold standard for the entire Orthodox Slavic world, from the Danube to the Volga.
