Obon
One of the most important festivals in our culture, Obon is the time to honor the dead, and our ancestors in particular. During the celebrations, offerings of food and ritual dances are performed. People also light fires and lanterns to guide the souls of the dead back home for the celebrations, and once again back to the land of the dead.
