The Great Military Reforms
To counter the numbers of our enemies, we have reorganized our army into the Oastea Mare (The Great Army). By granting land to the Răzeși — free-holding peasants who owe service directly to the Voivode — we have created a loyal, self-equipped infantry core that fights with the ferocity of landowners defending their own soil. This system ensures that even when the boyars waver, the Prince has a reliable and massive pool of battle-hardened soldiers.
