The authority of the Margrave is greatly threatened by the ever-increasing power of our Estates. The Estates are of great benefit to our nation, but the threat they represent to our base of power necessitates the creation of a new council, one which reduces the very real power that the estates hold over our nation into more of an advisory position for the Margrave. This way, we may continue to enjoy the benefits of our Estates while having fewer concerns about their needs.
