Garba!
Originating out of the worship dances done by women in praise of the Hindu goddess Ambaji, our people have refined a new and very graceful form of dance called the Garba. The basics of the dance are singing and clapping rhythmically in a circular formation. Today, our men and women use this dance to celebrate any occasion with great fervor, coming together as a community and wearing exquisitely embroidered outfits. All of us together, young and old, peasant and prince, Muslim and Hindu, dancing in an ever-growing circle.
