Our ancestors refined our administrative system over the centuries, and they were not shy about incorporating the ideas and methods of the cultures they subdued. Our current system of administration is in part based on traditions dating back to the Great Genghis Khān himself, and in part on what we have adopted from Persian and Muslim bureaucrats in the lands conquered.
