Aftermath of the Crusade Era
In 1291, Acre fell to the Egypt and with it our last foothold in the territories of the Holy Land. Our hopes and faith were put to the test as we were pushed back by the heathens, our bloodied struggle amounted to naught more than piles of bodies and shame.
Since then, we retreated to Cyprus and later to Ródos in an effort to regain our balance and eventually retake lands rightfully ours. However, as time goes on and the old guard that took part in the siege of Acre has departed this world, many voices in our court have given rise to doubts regarding the nature of our Order...
