Mordvinic

The Mordvinic peoples of the middle Volga region speak languages of the Mordvinic branch of the Uralic family, forming one of the largest indigenous groups of European Russia. The Moksha and Erzya are closely related but speak distinct languages and maintain separate cultural identities.
