Khoisan

The Khoisan peoples of southern and eastern Africa are among the oldest surviving populations on Earth, speaking languages distinguished by their remarkable click consonants. They include the San hunter-gatherers of the Kalahari and the Khoikhoi herders of the Cape, peoples who inhabited southern Africa long before the Bantu expansion.
