Cushitic

The Cushitic peoples of the Horn of Africa and the Nile Valley speak languages of the Cushitic branch of the Afro-Asiatic family. They encompass the camel nomads of Somalia and the Ogaden, the highland farmers of the Ethiopian Rift Valley, and the ancient Beja of the Red Sea coast.
