Bantu

The Bantu peoples form the largest linguistic grouping in sub-Saharan Africa, their expansion from a homeland near the Cameroon-Nigeria border carrying Bantu languages and agricultural practices across central, eastern, and southern Africa over three millennia. Today Bantu-speaking peoples inhabit almost the entire southern half of the continent.
