The Feast of Breaking the Fast marks the end of Ramaḍān and Muslim faithful around the world try to express a common goal of unity. Some believe that the feast is farḍ (obligatory), while others believe it is mustaḥabb (strongly recommended, just short of obligatory) or mendūb (preferable). All Muslim faithful should forgive and forget any differences with others or animosities that may have occurred during the year.
