Revitalizing the Commoners
While all social classes within Country were impacted by the Black Death, none were left more devastated than the Commoners. While the years since have seen many within the Burghers taking to investing in Renaissance art, leading to a cultural rebirth of the Country Adjective elite, many of the Commoners have largely been left reeling from the effects of the Black Death.
In order to help revitalize the heavily affected Commoners, some sympathetic voices within the Court Title have suggested slashing our patronage of the arts in favor of allocating funds to help them recover.
