Though many of the Pueblo settlements throughout Ali Shon have been situated on cliffs, the Pueblo of Áak'u remains one of the most unique, with it being situated on an elevated mesa. Though Áak'u has been met with challenges with its distinct elevated position, this has also been one of its biggest strengths, offering an extremely defensive position should its people be forced into conflict.
