Throughout his/her reign, Scope Ruler has lived a rather luxurious lifestyle in his/her capacity as Ruler Title. From expensive travels across the various estates in France, to the upkeep of the Country Adjective palace in Capital, the Country Adjective treasury has been left vastly drained of its funds. To counteract Scope Ruler lavish lifestyle, members of the cabinet have put forth the idea of levying The Fouage Tax as a new Hearth tax on households throughout France. While this proposed tax will be a hefty price for the Commoners to pay, it would allow the Country Adjective treasury to recover its funds while also allowing Scope Ruler to maintain his/her luxurious lifestyle.
