Ewostatewos the Monk
During our travels around our country to visit our chiefs, we have encountered a wise man teaching to the common folk. Ewostatewos is a monk and religious leader from the north of our Flavor Rank, he has a monastery and a small following of disciples, but after just a few minutes of listening to his lesson, our bishop quickly became irritated with him.
Ewostatewos proclaims to defend the ancient custom of the Ethiopian Miaphysitism commonfolk to observe both Saturday and Sunday as Holy Days. Our bishop instead says that that doctrine goes against the mandate of our patriarch in Alexandria and may lead to all kinds of problems. In his mind, the only way is to punish Ewostatewos for teaching it, so it sets an example and nobody follows his misguided step.
