The First Fleet
We are currently grappling with a surplus of convicts and it has been proposed that we transport some of these men and women to a far-off colony to help alleviate this problem. It is the intention that these convicts can be rehabilitated and become productive members of society once their sentences are served.
A group of ships are currently being prepared for this significant expedition with a proposed site of the recently established colony of Target Location. It is slated to depart momentarily.

It became the first group of European settlers to establish a permanent European presence on the continent that would become Australia. One of the main reasons for the expedition was to establish a penal colony, as Britain was facing overcrowding in its prisons. The other reason was that the convicts would provide a potential source of labor for the development of the new colony.
