The Potatoes Ruler Title
Potatoes have spread from the New World to Europe, but few, especially among the Commoners, find them particularly useful, despite their qualities and ability to feed masses. Target Ruler has suggested a new approach which if successful, could make our stubborn populace embrace Potatoes and perhaps even solve recurring famines. The Ruler Title suggest planting fields of Potatoes near Country Adjective lands which would be guarded at all times. The intent, however, is not protection, but persuasion. What the people cannot have, they suddenly desire.

He allegedly ordered the cultivation of royal potato fields and had them guarded by soldiers not to protect them, but to give the impression that they were valuable. By feigning scarcity and exclusivity, peasants started to assume the crop must be precious. Some even began to steal potatoes at night, helping to spread its cultivation across Prussia.
