The Mallorcan Issue
Our vassal the Mallorca has been a thorn in our side since their creation. Their ruler Majorca Ruler is rebellious and disrespectful, their merchants create trading alliances with Genoese and other Western Mediterranean markets which exclude Catalan interests, and their insistence in signing diplomatic treaties with our rivals and enemies against our orders has made the situation unsustainable.
We could use the fact that they mint their own coin, despite it being illegal under Aragonese law, to bring Majorca Ruler to trial. Once he/she is in Barcelona we could seize him/her and solve the issue once and for all.
