Recently, the disputes between different Nobility families have been increasingly fierce, up to the point even of having resulted in deaths among them. If they continue, they may pose a serious threat to the stability of the political system, and should therefore be taken very seriously.
So ingrained have these feuds become in the culture, that people are already starting to refer to it as 'the house strife', or O-Ie Sōdō. As long as it does not directly involve them, people see these conflicts as just a regular occurrence, and even as a somewhat form of entertainment in itself.
Now, it appears Target Character himself/herself has become involved in one of these disputes, and the people are demanding his/her head on a plate.
