Bonfires of the vanities are not an unusual occurrence around Europe. Zealous priests are constantly eager to condemn excesses and vice, and to prove their point they are not afraid to put up a show as spectacularly as possible. The burning of cosmetics, mirrors, dresses and anything deemed susceptible to tempt people into sin is one of the most noticeable ways they have to condemn vanity. Those items are in constant danger of falling victim to the cleansing fire of the faith.
Hieronymus has taken it into his hands to make one such bonfire to rid the good people of Country of sin. A huge bonfire will be set in the main square of Capital, and an example will be set for all to follow.
