An unusually prolonged period of peace and stability has allowed the peasants in large Monastic and Boyar estates to begin to adopt more modern farming techniques. Slash-and-burn remains the norm across large parts of our realm but with the spread of crop rotation the population in parts of our realm is growing significantly.
