Disqualification of a Cardinal
During the current Conclave to decide the next Ruler Title, the cardinals were already starting to get to an agreement on who to elect. However, new information surfaced concerning the favorite candidate and his past excesses both inside and outside the Church. Strong accusations were made, involving several vices such as debauchery, lechery, and other immoral practices.
Although these past sins are not deserving of excommunication, and despite him having since then properly repented and atoned for them, he has seen his support quickly withdrawn. Thus, the Conclave is at risk of having to start their discussions from the beginning once again, dragging the decision even longer.
