Violating the Waqf
The reform we instituted to reroute revenue from the Waqf welfare foundations in order to gain more funds for the Timariot system have proven very unpopular indeed. Prominent Clergy are preaching that we've dishonored both the state and the dynasty, and the rumors have become so widespread that even the Commoners are aggrieved. We might have to reverse the reform, before this situation becomes truly problematic for Ruler.
