The Fortress of Smederevo
The confluence formed by the Danube and Jezava rivers is of strategic importance for our nation. Possible invasions from the north can enter through this place and therefore having a proper stronghold in the area can help us defend our nation from these external threats.
Recently, we have received a series of distressing reports from concerned residents residing in the vicinity of Smederevo demanding we improve the local defenses as they do not feel safe. Their calls for assistance and protection have grown louder, urging us to take immediate action to enhance those fortifications.
Should we invest in bolstering those defenses, we will have another flank of our nation secured. The decision, however, is not one to be taken lightly, as fortification projects demand considerable resources and careful consideration.
