The wealthy Stroganov merchant family are strong supporters of the Arts and are considering the sponsorship of a local school for the creation of religious icons, much of which is used to adorn their many palaces across the Flavor Rank. Any art pieces created by the school would be designed specifically for private use and are unlikely to benefit the country as a whole, but will reaffirm the support of the powerful family and contribute towards the spiritual well-being of Country.

The school enjoyed popularity until the establishment of Saint Petersburg, which hastened its decline as Western influences gradually took hold.
