The growing pressure of our political and geographical position has reached a boiling point. As our borders are constantly harassed through skirmishes with Catholic knights and foes alike, it is time for us to make a choice that will likely determine the fate of our people.
Many of our advisors support the idea of a genuine conversion. They argue that establishing trusted ties with the Rome Ruler Title will secure our borders indefinitely.

Throughout the 14th century, there were many attempts to embrace Catholicism and be baptized, at the behest of Lithuanian Grand Dukes. They were alas to no avail, as many were vetoed by the Teutonic Knights or concluded unsuccessfully due to hostilities. It would not be until the reign of Jogaila and his cousin Vytautas 'the Great', that Lithuania would formally embrace the Catholic faith.
