Wrecked Western Ship
A ship has reached the shores of Target Location after a long and arduous voyage via what the crew calls the Strait of Magellan. De Liefde is apparently the only ship remaining out of a group of five, and it has only 24 sick and dying men out of an original crew of over a hundred, with less than 10 being able to stand.
Its rich cargo of Western curiosities and military equipment fared far better than its crew, and should be worth quite a bit. What is more, one of the survivors, a navigator called Target Character, insists he be brought before our 'king'...

209historical_info = flavor_jap.3.historical_info William Adams was the first Englishman to reach Japan. After having served under Sir Francis Drake during the war with Spain, he joined the Dutch East Indian Company in an expedition through the Strait of Magellan that after many hardships managed to arrive in Japan. He and his second mate Jan Joosten were sent to Tokugawa Ieyasu and entered his service, being both named hatamoto, a high samurai rank, and allowed to carry the two swords. Adams took the name Miura Anjin, and received the territory of Miura. He directed the construction of the first Western-style Japanese ships, as well as various trade and diplomatic missions between Japan and Europe.
