795historical_info = flavor_hab.15.historical_info Being founded as Wiennerisches Diarium in 1703, the newspaper was the first of the Austrian lands and remained among the most important newspapers of the Habsburg Empire. Being renamed to Wiener Zeitung in 1780, the paper also published the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen of the French revolutionaries, translated into German, in 1789.
